I took my Cadillac to Doug's Automotive with an overflowing and frothy coolant, which other mechanics swore was a blown head gasket and would take upward of $2,000 and a rebuild to fix. Doug and Bill were right about the cause, a leaky oil radiator, and did the job right on time and on budget for under $1,000. It’s been 2 years, and the engine still purrs like a kitten! Since then, I've taken my Saturn to him too, and he's done an honest job at a reasonable price."

Doug's Automotive did a good job figuring out what was wrong with the electronics in my car. They also discussed with me another electronics problem that usually results when the first one burns out. They were right about both. They quoted me the repair costs and that's what I was charged. I found the service excellent and the cost very reasonable. If you're looking for a good, honest mechanic, you should bring your car here. I won’t be taking either of my vehicles anywhere else."

Doug's Automotive quickly diagnosed what was wrong with our Nissan. They were also knowledgeable, noting that the failed component often led to a second kind of failure. It turns out both were broken. They were able to work with me on the replacement part I wanted and completed the work in good time. They are very friendly, and they answer their phone. I found the service very well priced. They also have towing available. This is an auto shop without much visual appeal, but don't judge this book by its cover! Think of the shop as a souped-up, highly modified car on the inside with a beater exterior. I'm delighted to find such a great mechanic locally."
